Skimming the tannin stained waters of the canal in the Okefenokee swamp in 80 degree weather makes me yearn for deeper adventures into the swamp. My family and I had a great time visiting the swamp, I still can't believe I finally saw a wild alligator. They are much smaller and less frightening then they appear in movies. I can't wait to go back and visit the swamp anyone up for a canoe trip?
